Best restaurants in Rome

Where do you eat in Rome? Looking for a small restaurant in Rome? Maybe a Michelin restaurant in Rome? When you arrive in the culinary capital, get ready for a flood of recommendations, videos, and photos from all over- blogs, Facebook, Instagram, `TikTok

Its getting a bit confusing . After 12 years of living in Rome, we have learned that everyone who writes “the best pizza is in…”

“The most delicious ice cream.. “,”The best pistachio cornetto in Rome..” someone os trying to sell us something

Rome is full of recommended restaurants and has an unimaginable abundance. This doesn’t guarantee that you won’t fall into a tourist trap, but the best approach is to avoid looking for a restaurant when you’re starving. Everything tends to look delicious when you’re hungry. Don’t succumb to the persuasion of waiters outside of restaurants, avoid being swayed by exaggerated videos on Instagram, and don’t put too much trust in anyone’s recommendations, as nobody knows your preferences better than you do. The world is diverse and rich, and everyone has a different palate. What is good for us is not necessarily good for you, and vice versa.

Here is a list of places we consider to be good, and we have many more places to add to it. There is no end to the list, and we share it verbally during the tours based on what you ask and in line with your preferences.

Use your intuition, long queues do not indicate a good restaurant in Rome but good marketing. Even locals fall prey to this sometimes, this applies to all of us. These are restaurants we visit and we really like the food they serve:
